  • Coding theory focuses on the study of the stability and reliability of information in a transmission channel. Recently, the study on coding theory and technology has become more and more in-depth and this field is one of important research directions in the cross-discipline of information and mathematics.
  • Many researchers in Korea and China have been doing a lot of researches on coding theory and related topics; these researchers have known and understood from each other on their research fields and research achievements through international cooperation, international conference and personal communication. They have been and are being interested in more and more collaborations, and wishes to continue exchanging and cooperating their latest research ideas and results in these fields. It is very important to supply a long-term exchange platform, where coding researchers from the two countries can report, discuss and cooperate their latest research. In particular, through this platform, young researchers from Korea and China can exchange their ideas, and learn each other. This is very helpful for training young researchers in two countries. This is the main purpose to organize the Korea-Sino or Sino-Korea international conference on coding theory and related topics in Korea or in China alternatively.
