Overview Home > Overview

For decades, two scientific fields, soft matter theory and theoretical biological physics, have been emerging as indispensable and important topics, mutually influencing and exchanging knowledge to understand the underlying chemicophysical principles of complex bio-soft matter. The aim of this KIAS (Korea Institute for Advanced Study) - FUB (Freie Universität Berlin) joint workshop is to offer a perspective through up-to-date research, which embraces a wide range of bio-soft matter theory, from atom-level simulations to mesoscopic continuum theories. We gather exceptional scientists with international and interdisciplinary backgrounds in bio-soft matter theory, aiming to create a source that energizes and strengthens research and networking at this international workshop.
