Dongsu Bak "Black Holes to Eternal Traversable Wormholes"

We briefly review quantum teleportation and the related physics of traversable wormholes. We then present the 2D dilation gravity description of evaporating black holes that end up with eternal traversable wormholes where every would-be behind horizon degree is available in asymptotic regions. The bulk construction completely matches with the boundary description governed by the Schwarzian theory.

Sung-Soo Kim "5d superconformal theories: review and more"

Here I will review 5d superconformal theories and its IIB string configurations, and discuss some progress.

Neil Lambert "Non-Lorenzian M5-branes Actions"  We will discuss the construction and properties of non-abelian gauge theory actions in 4+1 dimensions without boost invariance but with 24 (conformal)-supersymmetries that arise from embedding M5-branes into AdS_7.

Sunil Mukhi "On 2d CFT with One Critical Exponent"

I will describe recent new results on the complete classification of characters for 2d Rational CFT with two characters. Then I will show how more than a hundred new theories in this class can be constructed.

Ioannis Papadimitriou "Supersymmetry anomalies"

The Wess-Zumino consistency conditions for supersymmetric quantum field theories with an anomalous flavor or R-symmetry imply the existence of a supersymmetry anomaly, i.e. a non vanishing divergence for the supercurrent in the presence of fermionic sources for the flavor or current multiplets. I will discuss how this anomaly affects the supersymmetric partition function on backgrounds admitting rigid supersymmetry and outline other implications.

Jeong-Hyuck Park "O(D,D) completion of General Relativity"

Upon treating the whole closed-string massless NS-NS sector as stringy graviton fields, Double Field Theory may evolve into `Stringy Gravity’ or the O(D,D) completion of General Relativity. In terms of an O(D,D) covariant differential geometry beyond Riemann, we present the definitions of the off-shell conserved stringy Einstein curvature tensor and the on-shell conserved stringy Energy-Momentum tensor. Equating them, all the equations of motion of the massless sector are unified into a single expression which we dub `the Einstein Double Field Equations'.

Dan Xie "BPS spectrum of N=2 pure SYM theory"

BPS spectrum of N=2 pure SYM theory with arbitrary gauge group G will be discussed. We determine the BPS spectrum of strong coupling region using quiver mutation method, and these particles are responsible for the confinement if we turn on deformation to break N=2 theory to N=1 theory. Some comments on weak coupling spectrum will also be made.

Piljin Yi "Many faces of holonomy"

We review the central roles played by the holonomy variables in gauge theories on spacetime with a circle. They primarily offer the order parameter in the form of closed Wilson line, or, if the vacuum expectation value is not uniquely determined by the dynamics, label superselection sectors. After a cursory review of d=4 super Yang-Mills on a thermal and non-thermal circle, we turn to how the holonomy enters the supersymmetric partition functions, which necessarily sum over such superselection sectors. This discussion leads to a recent derivation of index theorems for gauge theories, a set of M-theory conjectures and related two-decade-only puzzles finally resolved, how one can glue supersymmetric gauge theories across adjacent dimensions, and the story of unexpectedly diverse Cardy exponents.

Kazuya Yonekura "Anomaly of Maxwell theory in string theory"

In string theory there exist fluxes of RR p-form fields whose integrals are not integers and hence seemingly violate Dirac quantization condition of D-branes. I will discuss how the theory can be consistent by the anomaly of worldvolume theory of D-branes. In particular, U(1) Maxwell fields have anomalies which are crucial for the consistency of D-branes in the presence of O-plane background.
