Canonical Field Theories with Gravity (October ~ December)
Part III invokes more in-depth explorations of General Relativity; constrained dynamics is explained with mechanics and field theory examples, naturally leading to the canonical formulation of gravity, while the last Chapter deals with Hawking radiation and related quantum phenomena. Part III is meant to pave the way for how quantum physics may reconcile with gravity, and include material that is unusual in standard GR courses.
