Applications and admissions are required. The application for Part 3 is now open till Jan 15th of 2025 with strengthened prerequisites.
Relevant real time informations and tweaking will be available under Part 1+2, Part 3, etc. Below are overall baseline information for how the class will be conducted.
1) Please consider the series as if it is one of your credited courses; otherwise, I can assure you that you will get nothing out of it in the end.
2) Lectures will be bundled Part by Part. You are free to leave at the end of a Part, but you could be also excused involuntarily if the previous attendance does not meet typical university standard. Unless one offers evidence for satisfying strengthened prerequisites, to be declared, joining in later for the sake of his/her particular interest would not be permitted.
3) Lecture notes will be handed out Part by Part or at smaller sizes. Later distributions could be in the printed form.
4) I would prefer to have several off-line attendants. Those in HongNeung area are cordially asked to join in person. For KAIST students, I have some fund to cover your occasional travels for (in part) off-line attendance as well, so inquire 류애리 선생님 if you are inclinded to do so.
5) I hope to have one off-line session per Part. If the current majority of KAIST students persist, I will consider myself traveling to Daejeon for the occasion. If the latter, the following one in KIAS would be designated off-line for the rest.
6) On-line attendance requires both the video and the audio enabled by all at any given time. Also you must diaplay your real name during the zoom session. Interruptions for questions are more than welcome. There will be video recordings of the lectures via ZOOM, so please be aware of it. Your entrance will be considered as a consent to the recording. Whether the recordings will become available to anyone is not clear, however, for now.
